June 16, 2020KANSAS CITY, Mo.
After the first round of MIAA scheduling was scrapped due to the coronavirus pandemic, the league released the adjusted slate of football games for this season which will get underway September 12.
Northwest Missouri State will head west to take on Nebraska Kearney to start the season.
The home opener will be September 19 against Fort Hays State, and homecoming will be October 10 against Northeastern State.
Since the schedule was cut down by a game for each team in the MIAA, Northwest will not face Central Missouri in the regular season. Last year the Bearcats and Mules split the conference title, each going 10-1 in league play.
The revised schedules for soccer, volleyball, basketball and spring sports will be released later in the week.
